Miranda HD-Bridge DEC
 
Miranda’s HD-Bridge DEC provides high quality HDV (Firewire) to HD-SDI (1080i or 720p) conversion with embedded audio and Time Code, along with digital and analog video/audio outputs. The HD-Bridge DEC’s built-in cross converter allows users to effortlessly convert between 720p and 1080i.
There are many applications for the HD-Bridge DEC. (1) It can be used on your set to capture uncompressed HD (via HDSDI interface) direct from your HDV camera to a HDCAM, DVCPROHD or D5 tape machine, or other HDSDI storage medium.
(2) It can be used to interface a HDV tape machine into a HDSDI edit or duplication system, complete with RS-422 9 pin machine control.
(3) It can be used for HDV monitoring, feeding HDSDI with timecode burn, and/or aspect ratio markers to a HDSDI monitor.
(4) It can be used to convert a HDV Firewire stream to HDSDI for on-air playout.
